Chamomile & Honey Sleepytime Latte

Chamomile & Honey Sleepytime Latte Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup whole milk (or a dairy-free alternative like almond, oat, or coconut milk)

1/2 cup water

1 tablespoon honey (or adjust to taste)

2-3 chamomile tea bags (or 1-2 teaspoons of loose chamomile flowers)

A pinch of ground cinnamon (optional, for garnish)

Whipped cream (optional, for topping)

Edible flowers (optional, for decoration)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Chamomile Tea:

In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of water and chamomile tea bags (or loose chamomile flowers).

Bring the water to a gentle simmer over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low.

Let the chamomile steep for 5-7 minutes to extract the flavor.

Remove the tea bags or strain out the loose chamomile flowers and set the brewed tea aside.

2. Warm the Milk:

In the same saucepan, pour 1 cup of milk (or your dairy-free alternative).

Heat the milk over medium heat, stirring occasionally to prevent it from scorching.

Once the milk is warm (but not boiling), remove it from the heat.

3. Combine Tea and Milk:

Slowly pour the brewed chamomile tea into the warm milk, stirring gently to combine.

Add 1 tablespoon of honey and stir until it’s fully dissolved. Adjust the sweetness according to your preference.

4. Froth the Mixture:

If you have a milk frother, use it to create a creamy foam on top of the latte.

Alternatively, you can pour the mixture into a blender and blend for 20-30 seconds until frothy.

5. Serve the Latte:

Pour the chamomile latte into a large mug.

Top with whipped cream if desired, and sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon or crushed chamomile flowers for a beautiful garnish.

For an extra special touch, decorate with an edible flower.

6. Enjoy Warm:

Sip your Chamomile & Honey Sleepytime Latte while relaxing in a cozy setting. Perfect for winding down before bed!
