Ingredients:

2 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese, softened

 

2 large eggs

 

3/4 cup granulated sugar

 

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

 

For the Crust:

 

1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers

 

1/4 cup granulated sugar

 

1/4 cup melted butter

 

 

 

Instructions:

 

1. Prepare the Crust:

 

Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).

 

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers, sugar, and melted butter. Mix well until the texture resembles wet sand.

 

Press the mixture evenly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust.

 

Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes, then set it aside to cool.

 

 

 

2. Make the Filling:

 

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.

 

Add the sugar and continue to beat until fully incorporated.

 

Mix in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is well blended before adding the next.

 

Add the vanilla extract and mix until smooth.

 

 

 

3. Assemble the Pie:

 

Pour the cream cheese mixture into the prepared crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula.

 

 

 

4. Bake:

 

Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set and slightly jiggles when shaken.

 

 

 

5. Cool and Chill:

 

Allow the pie to cool to room temperature. Then, refrigerate it for at least 4 hours or overnight to fully set.
